October 31, 2020 - Although a bit past it's prime the wine has held up pretty well. Forget about this case that was buried in the cellar, but still good and not too aged. The wine looks crimson colored with medium legs. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The body is light/medium and has smooth texture. The wine finishes well but doesn't linger. Nice nose and typical Cab flavors but not over the top body.

    August 13, 2017 - nice, well balanced

May 12, 2016 - Inky red color. Blackcurrant, bramble, black pepper, wild strawberry and graphite aromas. The nose and palate are very latent. I guess the wine is in resting period. It has firm structure, clearity and ample acidity for American Meritage red. Tannin is fairly impressive for modest wine. Nevertheless, it is risky whether develop or remain simple. My estimation is for now itself. Alc. 13.5%

August 24, 2015 - Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley is known for its Zindandels, but the vintners can also put out some fine Cabernets.

March 8, 2015 - Similar to last time. Wonderful cab nose. Needs a fair amount of time to open up and dissipate some of the oaky tannins. A great value under $20.
