February 5, 2024 - Solid. Not overly tannic, but plenty acidic. What would you expect from a Barolo? Paired delightfully with pork ragú and the Grammys.

September 12, 2023 - Decanted an hour before dinner. Beautiful nose, black fruit & hints of rose.
Palate had lots of big flavor - dark fruit, plum,a hint of licorice? - but surprisingly these faded quickly.4 people found this helpful Comment -

July 17, 2023 - Popped and poured and enjoyed over two nights. Starting to show some age visually. A little browning around the edges. Showing very well on the first night with some mint and charred wood accents. Bright cherry fruit. On day two, it has loosened up and is showing more earthy notes and has lost the mint. I liked this a little more yesterday, though I am sad the bottle is empty today. I won’t hesitate to open another bottle, though this should cruise along for years.
