Community Tasting Notes 2

November 12, 2015 - Likely drank this too soon despite the Cellartracker drinking window. Found this to be vegetal, herbal and tight. Never opened in subsequent hours and days.

December 19, 2014 - This wine is a little tighter than I prefer. Maybe it could benefit from aging? Dark ruby color, and the nose is pleasent enough - a bit fruity. On the tongue, the wine starts very fruit forward - you can definitely taste the Syrah - but the middle and finish are a little abruptly. Almost like the wine is in a hurry. I love Benziger's wines, so maybe I was expecting something greater. Still, a unique and fun wine I would certainly drink again.
