  October 28, 2021 - Armand Rousseau Chambertin Dinner (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Complex array of stone and orchard fruit aromas and flavors with clear Grand Cru density. Clearly on the riper side, but with so much stuffing that the power and intensity keep this easily restrained. Great now.

  November 9, 2019 - 45th Birthday Celebration (Chez Nanda): Side by side with the Grandes Ruchottes which was killer and fresh. This bottle of Batard showed heavy with oxidation settling in. Not fully off, but not what it should be.

On the palate, there were some telltale signs of browned apple juice too. More the shame, as this wine seemed to have a really good sense of density and power.
