June 18, 2023 - This bottle really outperformed expectations. No bricking at all and a lovely shine to it. Red fruits, raspberry, lifted but with a really plump middle. Lightweight yet not thin at all. A sense of Drouhin in this wine despite it's minor appellation. Just a hint of grainy tannin on the finish.

April 23, 2017 - The nose is dominated by sweet strawberry. Little else comes through. Good fruit character on the palate with less strawberry than i had expected given the nose. Cherry's and cranberry take over here. There is a thin streak of acidity with mild tannins and a hint of nuttiness on the finish. It's a light and nicely balanced wine, but lacks the quality of better burgs. Drink now.

August 22, 2015 - Medium clear ruby. Tart red fruit like strawberry, cherry, some hints of tomato and earthy scents. Medium body with soft tannins, medium acidity and short to medium finish. Lots of pinosity in the nose which reminds of more expensive burgundies, the mouth however tells you that this is an entry level one. In any case this is a good summer wine at a relatively good price.

August 18, 2015 - Aged for 12-15 months in oak barrels, of which 10% were new.

Translucent raspberry red color. Somewhat reductive, slightly closed and vaguely sweet-toned nose with aromas of peppery spice, matchstick smoke, some sour cherry, a little bit of ripe strawberry and a hint of Haribo cola bottle candies. The wine is quite ripe and medium-bodied on the palate with dry flavors of black cherries, some sour cherry bitterness, a little bit of stony minerality, a hint of peppery spice and a touch of tart lingonberry. The structure relies mostly on the high acidity, not on the modest and pretty silky tannins. The dry finish is quite long but also pretty linear with flavors of tart cranberries, sour cherry bitterness, some savory wood spice and a hint of peppery spice.

A nice, balanced and fresh Pinot Noir from this not-that-great vintage. Not big on character, but shows good varietal typicity and sense of balance. Drinking nicely now and shows a little bit of potential for future development. Overall a good and reliable little everyday Burgundy, priced according to its quality at 17,99€.

February 24, 2015 - An old-world Pinot. Not as sweet on the nose / palate as the Ata Rangi 2011 I drank along side it. Still young, light, with the strong acidity that reminds me of ripe red tomatoes that I find in 2012 Burgundy. After a few days in the fridge it became lighter, but remained smooth, and very drinkable.
