December 18, 2023 - Somehow too earthy. Hard to taste the fruit.

August 5, 2023 - Siggy's Annual BBQ (Chez Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Dark red color. Small glass. Nice dose of funk, dark fruits, dark cherry and deep berry notes, blueberry, iron and minerality, subtle herbal notes, medium plus body.

January 1, 2022 - Dark, brooding, earthy, no discernible fruit, almost a bit disjointed. Disappointing, as we usually love cote Rotie.

July 27, 2021 - Ripe strawberry, iron, blue fruits, and brooding richness on the nose. More intense on the palate with added gaminess, but just a bit tight and slightly hollow on the midpalate. Maybe it'll open up more later. Still has a good life ahead of it with no rush to pop any.

November 5, 2019 - Drinking great right now. Smoked meat, herbs, more red fruited than dark fruit and a little Levet funk which is right in my wheel house. Fine tannins with a great amount of acidity. Will hold for much longer but was worth checking in on
