  November 20, 2018 - I had a well-stored bottle; no decanting. Tannins are soft, and the wine is smooth, still with good color and fine Napa nose. The flavors are well-knit, and there remains enough acidity to give the wine some pop. Very lovely glassful, quite enjoyable, with true Stags Leap character.

  December 25, 2014 - Still in very good shape; opened right up. Some tannins particularly on the back, vanilla, dark slightly sweet fruit with a solid finish. I think this might have another year or two. Not sure why we drank this so early on Christmas day, should have 95' Tresor first which was a little disappointing

  July 6, 2013 - Well it is a great wine that is likely just over it's peak. Color is a bit brown on the edges, nose is still very good. Seemed a bit soft right out of the bottle, made me think it was well over the hill. But, as it took on some air it came a bit more alive. It is still a very good wine, probably just a bit over the hill but I am still enjoying it very much. In fact I am going back to raise my rating to 91. Don't wait, Drink it Now
