February 11, 2018 - Full ruby without lightening. Initially some stemmy aromas, but then a beacon of blackberry fruit. Pretty remarkable volume for an Auxey. The acidity leaps out but then relaxes to show quite deep black fruit and superb minerality. This bottle was ridiculously young and could have benefited from another 10 years. Outstanding for this appellation.

December 26, 2003 - Fruit filled aromas with noticeable oak. Flavors of strawberry and red cherry, somewhat still hidden behind oak and grape oak tannins. Finishes a bit short and simple. I guess give this another 3-5 years to integrate better.
