July 29, 2015 - 45/38/17 Merlot/Cabernet/Cab Franc. Nose shows oak notes, baking spice, cedar, chocolate, cassis. Palate is expressive, New World, black fruit, chocolate, dill, black pepper, mid-palate shows medium plus tannins, finish offers nothing new but holds medium length. Really nice QPR. Big style for WA.

October 2, 2014 - Structured, dry, complex with oak & dark fruits, lots of secondary flavors (coffee, cocoa, cedar), not a lot of fruit, somewhat tannic. Paired well with steak.
