June 18, 2016 - Spice forward, not enough berry richness for my taste. It was not a fair test, because it was dark, and I thought I was drinking the Cabulous (labels are identical except the actual name), so my palette was expecting cab taste, and it got all that spice! Probably a good Zin, but give me a cab!

May 18, 2014 - This was far too 'thin' to my taste. In fact, I tasted nothing I like in a zinfandel. Thin, no finish, slightly bitter, and little to no dark fruit. This trays like a 'house brand' which it is, however not a good house brand. There are far better choices at this price. Granted this is not am expensive wine, but certainly not a good QPR.
