October 22, 2023 - With 13.2% ABV and a smart, carmine red color filling the bowl, it is a beauty to behold, evenly distributed legs and all. Nose is fairly monotone, with plum dominance. Spice, a touch of salt, a hint of smokiness, and some teak greet the tastebuds with moderate and agreeable acidity and tannins present. A wine worth the wait, and a lovely accompaniment to our grilled chicken dinner.

September 12, 2023 - The year before Tavola emerged. Screwcap. Still drinking just fine. Cranberry fruited, a little soft and Smokey side. medium minus body. No tannin, simple, but fresh. Not really showing any maturity.

July 8, 2020 - its fading, but still solid. Getting notes of plum and some minerals, but although this is a Willamette pinot, it doesn't have the aging potential of other OR wines in my view.

August 16, 2019 - Agree with the observations of other reviewers that this vintage definitely needs some “air time” to show its true character. Then one finds the deep earthiness one might expect from a burgundy along with some dark berry notes as well. Not sure it needs more age, though, so if you find this still available, buy to drink now rather than to lay down.

December 17, 2018 - At first I thought this was over the hill, but with a bit of air it shows as a mature OR pinot with the French characteristics that I associate with the Willamette valley. No longer fruit forward, but with some nuance and maturity. Still very nice on day 2 with just a bit of vacuum pumping (although less nuanced). Probably don't want to wait too long to drink this.
