March 15, 2024 - PnP. Great tertiary aromas (tobacco, leather). Tasty nose / palate of ripe (black) fruits (cherry, currant). Nice tannin structure with high acidity. Medium finish. Good value for money.

August 16, 2023 - From memory -- this struck me as in a perfect phase for my taste, with the fruit still fresh (perfect ripeness, more red than black), spice well present, and tertiary notes of leather and old book rounding it out. Palate is balanced and tannins smooth but still present. Loved it with chicken, but this can stand up to much bigger fare without issues, or be a great meditation wine on its own.

April 19, 2023 - Mmm great wine. Big rich fruit, now showing tertiary leather along with fruits of the forest. Very balanced structure. Long and complex. Drinking now and over the next decade.
