  December 11, 2016 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Vivid strawberry and cherry fruit, just a little darkened by some bottle age. Vaint malty note. The palate is nicely medium-bodied, with soft dusty tannins, minimal oak, a largely fruit-driven character, obviously new-world in character, but not sweet or too artificial tasting. It's not terribly complex, but it should easily age (if not actually improve) another 5 years. Decent medium-length finish, pleasantly even palate coverage, and very good value for money.

  Day 2: Berries toned down, acidity more tangible, tannins somewhat more aswell. Pepper, tobacco, green leaves, a smidge of laurel, and decent length, though too chemical/polished on the nose.
