    -nearly opaque med dark red
    -almost jammy/modernish but also extremely fresh dark fruit with stone and mint elements
    -med acidity, med/med- weight clean dark fruit with a stony minerality but also a topnote of lighter bubble-gummy red fruit, decent complexity, med/med- tannins
    -less rustic than some Corsican reds but also a little less interesting, very good now and probably on its prime drinking plateau, don't expect this would benefit from extended aging though it should continue to drink well for at least another 3-5 years

    July 18, 2015 - Tannins and wood well integrated, volatile component disappeared with 1+ hour in the carafe so this might benefit from 1 or 2 more years in the cellar.

    Good and delicate expression of ripe fruit from a warm climate

    August 25, 2014 - Mais qu'est il arrivé aux vinifications de ce beau domaine. Un bois neuf très marqué masque completement le vin, fini la typicité et les aromes d'épices et d'herbes du maquis. Le vin est tellement enrobé que je ne suis pas sur que le temps permettra l'intégration. Vite, un retour aux vinifications passées ! Je n'ai pas réussi a finir la bouteille...

    August 5, 2014 - Voyage en Corse (août 2014): 1ere fois à Calvi, au Tire-Bouchon
    39 euros au resto Table du Hussard
    Cépages: syrah, grenache, cinsault, nielluciu.
    Beau nez floral ( violettes), de fruits des champs, on croirait sentir la syrah. L'attaque en bouche est souple, ronde et fraiche, on s'étonne ensuite de trouver plus de structure et de droiture en milieu de bouche. Bonne longueur sur du fruit rouge, avec de bons tanins en finale. Un beau vin qui a du corps et de la personnalité. 90+ pts
    La 2e fois, servi tout de suite à bonne température, nous l'avons trouvé encore meilleur.

    May 1, 2014 - Tasted on a windy terrace of Bonifacio, so impossible to describe the nose... very sappy sweet cherries, loaded with super ripe tannins, loads of fruit building up to the finish... bright acidity... great wine!
