    May 3, 2019 - I actually quite liked this. Not as heavy or hot as many CA Pinots, so reflects the cooler climate, but still quite rich. Nose full of raspberry and currants, vanilla and mushroom. Palate has a sweet spice element to it as well as tight acidic grip in back. This to me may not have had a ton of complexity to it, but it had none of the tiresome faults of so many New World pinots. Tannins well integrated and the whole wine nicely balanced for its size. Not at all tiring to drink.
    Score : 91. Relative to expectations : ++

    February 4, 2016 - Solid Pinot on the larger side.

    Dark purple with hints of ruby red. Warm aroma with big red fruits and subtle earth.

    Medium+ in body with good acids and balanced alcohol. Soft mouth feel and decent finish. To be honest I expected more and not sure why. This is drinking well now and should for several years.

    September 27, 2015 - Almost cabernet-like on the nose with dense aromas of fresh herb, old world woodsy notes and chalky black fruit. The palate is ripe, soft and lacking enough acidity, showing plenty of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit that has a touch of apple towards the finish.

    May 27, 2015 - Red and dark cherry aromas. Full and fleshy on the palate. Structured and enjoyable now. Getting into some cola, without the laden down RRV weight. A little lighter side of RRV. Some red raspberry. Med/+ acid. Quite good again.
