May 8, 2016 - At first strong minerality and lemon grass on the nose, after it opens more you find honey and grapefruit with a little pear .
Nice straw color with grapefruit and lemon notes ending with honey and pear.
July 6, 2015 - The wine has low acidity. It smells like lemon, grapefruit and apple. The wine finishes medium. It tastes like peach, lemon and pear. The wine looks straw colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has flabby texture.
May 17, 2015 - Chilled on a warm spring day, this was all lemon up front:curd, merengue, verbena. After warming a touch, the minerality came though. With a little peppadew and goat cheese, the surprising sweetness mellowed and you got the more mineral notes. Clearly a very ripe Sav Blanc, really enjoyable on the deck in warm weather.
April 13, 2015 - Ripe and exotic - apricot, peach, over ripe pear, toasty spices. I like it. I can understand why others think its overdone.
February 23, 2015 - A touch of citrus, lemon and a bit of honey. Very nice for the price.
February 8, 2015 - Fun stuff with minerals, floral, tropical fruit and subtle grass note. Have not had a US SB in a while and might have to revisit.
February 7, 2015 - Red Burgs (Wayzata, MN): Pale straw color. Very small pour. Just had enough to get interested in this SB. A interesting blend of 85% sauvignon blanc, 11% sauvignon gris and 4% sauvignon musque, this was pretty nice. The nose is quite bright showing grapefruit, cat pee, lychee, lime, and herbs. The palate has citrus, gooseberry, mineral, cat pee, lime, and an herbal note, bright clean and lively.
January 16, 2015 - May be an off bottle. Not much acidity showing. Flat.
August 30, 2014 - Very sweet, no hint of dryness. Good nose, but too sugary.
June 15, 2014 - Nice balance. Lemony with a good mouthfeel.
