July 31, 2020 - Clear tawn colour. Toffee, caramel, barley sugar on nose. Raisin in flavour with burnt sugar. Fresh. Very enjoyable.

March 23, 2019 - Well very good; I finally cracked and couldn’t resist opening it. Rich and sumptuous: toffee, hazelnut, burnt caramel, figs, raisins, sultanas. Will get richer and soften further with a bit more time in the bottle. From Wine Society.

December 17, 2017 - Very rich and complex.Perfect for fruit cake. Marmalade and spice with a slight herbal note which keeps it from being sickly

March 5, 2017 - Pale amber, aromas of orange flesh and peel, toffee and coffee. Super smooth on the palate with rich sweet fruit cake flavours, orange zest and peel and a fresh clean finish. Not tons of complexity but £7 for a half bottle from The Wine Society it delivers pleasure for a great price.

April 17, 2016 - Nice. Orange tea, peel, treacle, prune, clove and other Christmas spices. Opened on a whim to go with a rich firm chocolate cake - the combo definitely better than the individual parts. I'll do that combination again.
