Community Tasting Notes 1

  • srh Likes this wine:

July 8, 2017 - Taste Staff TOP Picks (San Diego Wine Co.): 46% Petite Verdot, 32% Malbec & 22% Cabernet Franc; 14.5% ABV; Only 48 cs made [per a youtube video]

    N: CLOSED, some toast/earth?

P: Med body; Almost swtish frt/toast nicely met by some mid palate structure, this fairly seamlessly morphing into a FAIRLY LONG, very slightly tart/bittersweet finish. Dink NOW & through '19. [This vendor's $15.99 is HEAVILY discounted from the winery's $40, which I don't remotely see as a viable QPR.]
