August 4, 2022 - Coravin fun - Talbot: From Coravin. Jubey, red over blackberry, currant, cream, sweet spice; pretty nose. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, similar fruit and flavour profile to the nose, tannins are a little green and it finishes a touch hard but this on the better side of the 2013's I've tried.

August 20, 2018 - Transparent red, looks thin. Good nose of red fruits. The palate is consistent with the feeling from the colour, light, black ripe fruits. Light and a bit rough tannins. Acidic which gone quickly. Finish is medium but not enjoyable, a lit bitter after taste. Not an attractive vintage from Talbot.
January 30, 2018 - IMW Bordeaux Tasting - 2013 Vintage (Hyatt, San Francisco): Pyrazinic nose. Underripe and tart on the palate. Juice-like and thin with weedy fruit (like a low-end Malbec).

January 2, 2017 - Rather singular and showing mainly green, lead and pencil notes as indicated by others. A poorer performance than I was expecting
December 9, 2016 - Light on the nose, a bit of pencil lead and currants, but very faint. A fair bit of acid with soft tannins. Forest floor with black fruit. Medium finish. This review is for the 375ml bottle.

October 21, 2016 - Youthful and surprisingly deep in appearance
Low intensity nose as per 2013, with sweet red and black fruits, as well as a little leafiness.
On the light side of medium-bodied, fresh and bright with a little oak showing. Some rich black fruit and some liquorice too.
Elegant, fruity and well-balanced with supple tannins. Attractive and easy-drinking.
