January 21, 2018 - Tasted side by side with a Sea Smoke Southing and Red Burgundy. This fell right in the middle of the two (expected) with lighter fruit than the Sea Smoke and less earth than the Burgundy. All three wines were of equal quality offering different styles. This is a wine with finesse and elegance on the lighter fruit side with nice complexity. The tasting group was split on preference between the three wines. This is well made and works well with food.
