  April 11, 2015 - Tasting at Epoch Wines (At the Winery - Outside of Templeton, CA): A wonderful -- and surprising -- balance between sweet and savory, buttressed by balanced acidity. Likely the best necklace I've ever seen on a rose'. Minerals in the bouquet, with more minerals on the palate joined by citrus, peach pith, melon and lemon zest. Brilliantly done!

  March 7, 2015 - Good, but not great rosé. Fruit forward, very Californian, with white raspberry, watermelon, strawberry and lemon, bolstered by sharp acidity and minerality on the finish. I think the ABV creeps up towards 14.5%, giving this a viscous quality and makes it a little more heavy than refreshing. Good and well received, but I would have preferred the lightness and light effervescence of a Txakolina Rosé. Both bottles were very consistent, to the point of being indistinguishable.
