March 30, 2024 - full body, black fruit, plum, black berry. still powerful not feeling past peak. Decant for 1hour or no need to decant, drink slowly.

November 10, 2023 - Dark cherry red color. Smoky cherry nose. There is a drying feel to the palate, tobacco, cherries, cedar. Fine tannins, muted acidity, decent balance. Finishes short and faint. Not a bad wine but also not an impressive performance. Probably should have drunk 5 years ago.

November 3, 2023 - Time has done good to this bottle. Blackcurrant, ash, cedar, mushrooms, forest floor. Mature, smooth, complex. Finish could be a little longer.

October 15, 2022 - Talbot, Gruaud & Lagrange (Piccolino Exchange Square): On the nose - needed to breathe in deep to get it, but some cedar box and perhaps pine needles. On the palate - a bit of glossiness (stemminess?) with decent acidity.
