  February 8, 2020 - Dark inky purple color, mild aromas of beach wood, cedar, and dry brush. Flavors of deep dark blackberry and blueberry, with notes of pomegranate, espresso and bakers chocolate on the medium finish. Full-bodied, but not as heavy as most, but a really good wine, perfectly softened a balanced now. popped with 30 min decant and good to go. Drink now, nothing to gain by waiting.

  January 25, 2015 - Pre-Birthday drive in the Willamette Valley: I am generally really not a fan of Argentinian Malbec so I was quite surprised to like this. Not a bad QPR, either. This smells like vegetables. On the fruit spectrum, there's some apple notes as well. Quite interesting. Mellow fruit enters on the darkly complected palate, which is quite creamy and luscious. Nice tart tannins are present as well. Mellow acid on the finish and tons of red apple core.
