February 5, 2023 - Enjoyable, not great. I would not expect much more life on this one.

September 28, 2022 - I always think that wines from Italy won't age as well as other wines, particularly one that are primarily Sangiovese. This was still going strong and was excellent. It was much bigger and full bodied than I had expected and therefore it didn't pair well with my pork shank but it was still quite enjoyable. Lots of dark fruit and rounded with an elegant finish.

December 30, 2020 - I found it to show beautiful fruit and soft tannins. Classic brunella on the elegant side.

December 25, 2020 - Really lovely Brunello. Elegant. Last one of this vintage was 8 years ago and it has improved considerably. Stood for 2 days prior and decanted for sediment 1 hour prior to dinner. Drank with beef rib roast. Great aromatics, good acid and while tannins have softened appropriately there's still good structure here. Still has life in it if you like your Brunello aged, which I do. I would be comfortable for 5 years more, no problem. Unfortunately, that was my last. Enjoy. : )

January 25, 2020 - Almost five years since the previous bottle and the vine matured very
nicely. Still very forward nose of raspberry and blackberry and earthy forest notes. Tannins completely resolved. The wine maintains good structure and balance. Drinks very well now. Not sure it will get any better.
