February 14, 2017 - Deep leather, black currant and pine needles within the bouquet. Reminiscent of an aged Bordeaux with a Cali fruit twist. Black cherry predominates, giving way to secondary flavors of watermelon sprinkled with white pepper. Black tea (with lemon) on the finish, which kinda thins out towards the end. Not much in the way of tannin to suggest significant ageworthiness, but shining now.
