March 13, 2021 - Well this has certainly come around since last bottle. Excellent balance and lovely fruit. At its prime and will be there for a while. Happy there's one left.

January 5, 2020 - Not sure what to think about this one. Sure, it's a really nice wine but restrained somehow. Maybe too early?

November 4, 2014 - Nose is bit mute. Palate is quite fresh, red fruit on the mid palate and good backbone too. Excellent.

October 17, 2014 - 2014 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/14/2014-10/21/2014 (New York City, NY): This deep ruby Barolo is a taut, masculine version of the Nebbiolo grape. It offers red currants, anise, mint and tar on the nose, with similar flavors on the palate. Full-bodied, dense, freshly acidic and with big dry tannins, it is a bit of a mouth-puckerer at this point. The wine's alcohol (14%) is nicely integrated and the middle palate is solid. It closes with a tart, dry finish. Give this one some time in the cellar. It has a dense core of beautiful fruit and the structure to match. Drink 2020-2035.
