Community Tasting Notes 2

May 9, 2019 - Dark Garnet fading to brick edge color. Red fruit, cinnamon, wild game, and dark chocolate on the nose and palate. Soft but gripping tannrns and a medium - long after taste. I am not a Grenache fan, but I enjoyed this bottle, especially with beef stew.
EDIT - no wonder I liked this wine, it has as much Syrah as Grenache!

April 18, 2014 - France: 38 Wines from Kermit Lynch (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Large wine... soft, mild, and smoothly fruited palate, but fairly simple, with tannins quickly covering things up. Puckering, tart finish. Tastes like grape juice.
