November 13, 2015 - Couple more years on this one and it will be perfect. Tons of forest floor, mushroom, nice oak influence turn super sweet and tart red berries. Medium body/finish.

November 1, 2015 - Popped and poured. Bouquet of cherry, smoke, earth, underbrush and spice. A red and black fruit core combines with flavors of earth, coffee, chocolate and toasted oak. Leads to a medium to long, soft, dry finish. Medium to full bodied. Paired with lasagna.

August 30, 2015 - The previous bottle was disappointing to say the least, was just planning to get rid of our final bottle when we were totally surprised. This bottle had that wonderful old world characteristic that we remembered. Evidently there are some inconsistencies from bottle to bottle with the vintner. The one was well worth the price point.

December 21, 2014 - Decent wine with red berries with lots of spices and heightened acidity finishing short with tight tannins. Not showing much more after time in the glass, and performed much better once I had food to pair it with. This is an eating wine and not much more. Too bad I had to pay 4x its retail price at a restaurant, as I would've enjoy it much more had it been otherwise.

August 29, 2014 - The cab helps add some roundness and fullness to the sangiovese, but still retains some dustiness and earthiness and the cherry fruit you typically get from Tuscany's premier grape.
