December 9, 2021 - dark color, still ok but looing fruit, should have been drunk sooner

January 10, 2021 - needs air, deep color, good mouth feel

December 7, 2019 - Excellent nose still showing black cherries but mostly wonderful earthy notes of a mature wine. The palate continues the earthy notes along with some exotic spices with no bitter tannins remaining. Smooth and very enjoyable throughout. Drink up if you have one as I can't see any further improvement in its future. Decanted and drank over a couple of hours.

December 7, 2012 - The wine is a fairly deep ruby color. The very inviting nose has raspberries, black cherries, baking spices, dried herbs, strawberries, and hints of vanilla and earthy elements. This has medium body with soft, ripe tannins and very nice acidity. Tart, juicy fruit highlights the palate with nice spiciness, dried herbs, and earthy notes coming in from the sidelines adding considerable depth. The finish is fairly long with a solid wall of fruit, spice, and dried herbs very slowly fading away. This is in its prime drinking window now, but should hold for at least a couple more years.

March 9, 2012 - Nice red fruit; cherry, good balance. One of the favorites of the tasting.
