January 10, 2006 - Tasted for the first time at the distillery. A lovely nose, bursting exotic fruit, toffee, and peat. Smooth, balanced and long, a nicely crafted and very sensuous whisky. Just a little hollow towards the end, perhaps due to ABV (only 43%).
