March 22, 2024 - personal favorite from Trefethen. Vibrant and flavorful from day 1.

October 21, 2023 - Nice, but didn't stand out. Drinking fine but don't think any more age will help.

September 20, 2021 - Bright red fruit; purple/ruby rim still quite fresh.
Opened bright and deepens in the glass. Spices come forward first, followed by oak. Long finish and pronounced acidic backbone that balances the other characters. Continues to evolve in the glass decanting would help but I’ll be drinking it over the next few days so it goes on argon for the duration. Still some life here even in 2021…

October 18, 2019 - Definitely on its way down but still drinking wonderfully right now. When we opened it up it was quite dry but became lighter over 3 hours of air. Got very smooth. Nice jammy notes, medium lightness. Went very well with chicken and short ribs. If you have a bottle, recommend drinking now, seems like it’s flavor is starting to ween.

September 22, 2019 - Cork failed on opening. (7yrs on the shelf)
Used in Godfather pasta sauce and polished bottle w/ meal. Besides the cork failure, the sauce created was excellent and paired nicely with a very drinkable wine. Might have held it a little too long, but not bad.
