Notes of a Novice
• deep blueish purple, a bit dusty
• transparent, very thin
• fairly compact rim
• on the nose, very pleasant
• lovely dark almost ripe fruit - plums,
• coffee? hint of bitter
• smell is very balanced
• in the mouth, nicely balanced
• almost ripe dark fruit
• nice acid
• nice tanins
• finish feels balanced, a bit bitter aftertaste, but not annoying
• the gentle level of sweetness is pleasant to me
