March 30, 2021 - Medium body (13.7%) red wine. Tight fruit with some personality unlike other Lange pinot noir wine. Maybe this bottle is off.

March 2, 2020 - It went OK with Salmon but when drunk alone, it had a bitter aftertaste.

June 16, 2018 - PnP. Consistent with previous note. Fresh and ripe racy with a cheesy burgundy funk. Delicious.

August 1, 2017 - Black cherry and cherry cola with hints of cocoa and coffee on the long finish, light tannins. Excellent with Wild Sockeye Salmon tonight.

February 21, 2017 - PnD let air for 1hr. Deep clear garnet (a dark pinot). Macerated cherry plum touch of vanilla and espresso on the nose. Medium weight with nicely ripe cherry skin and black tea tannins. Rich and refreshing on the palate with warm ripe Bing cherry touch of raspberry hint of cola espresso and beer tops. A rich pinot but not OTT. Had with salmon would be great with duck breast with peppercorn sauce. Will hold onto last bottle for at least 2 years.
