  January 1, 2017 - An IGP blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Provence. Heady perfume of red cherries, raspberries and a hint of white pepper leap from the glass. Unusual to find such exuberance in a wine of just 13.5% ABV. Youthful and fresh on the palate, evocative of zesty red fruit with ripe and supple tannins; the acidity crying out for something rich and savory. A thick slab of animal protein perhaps? Went great with flame-grilled chimichurri steak. Not a lot of evolution drinking over a couple of hours; nonetheless, it was eminently quaffable.

  September 21, 2015 - Russk. Not much nose. Smells slightly of young cab and syrah. Nice mouth. Good balance. Hits me like a cross between a decent Bx Superior and an super Tuscan. Nice low alcohol and solid acidity. Would buy again for $16.

  It tastes like light toast, chocolate, blackberry, blueberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
