September 18, 2021 - Had at a friends (C&D) dark and luscious, black fruit and chocolate. A hint of espresso. Long finish. Delightful wine.

September 8, 2018 - Clear, dark crimson with (still) pink rim, and very sporadic, slow-moving tears.
Clean, med intensity, with aromas of dark cherries, hawthorn, mulberries, blackberries, brewed coffee, soy-drenched shiitake mushrooms, and a hint of caramel.
Dry, med+ body, med- acidity, med+ alcohol, and jaw-dropping tannins (med+), with further tastes of blackcurrants, stewed figs, apple peel, hint of marmite, tobacco leaf and charred beef. Fantastic finish, this wine plays on the palette with its silky tannins and full intensity of flavours. Love it.

April 6, 2018 - This might be one of the 5 best wines made in Canada.

  • JAP55 Likes this wine: 86 points

November 11, 2017 - Crisp with black fruit predominating. Smooth tannins with a short finish.
