October 28, 2017 - Consensus wine of the night as a tasting with 9 people who each contributed wines. Opaque black to the edge with nose filling aromas of black currant and blackberry. Concentrated, deep, amply tannic and acidic, rich, and magnificently integrated, lush, and delicious. Usually wines from the Terra A Lago Vineyard are blended into an Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, but in 2002 the wine was so incredibly great that the best block 4 was bottled separately. One of the greatest full cases of wine we have bought, where every bottle has been unfailingly great.

October 2, 2012 - Well past its prime and a modest disappointment, having felt this wine from block #4 would age better than the average cab. Lots of sediment and some nice fruit remains, but overall not a big wine or one that has aged well.
