December 15, 2019 - Genuinely enjoyed this Lirac, that according to Cellar Tracker should have been drunken by 2018. Compared to the bottles I drank back in 2016 and 2017, the tannins have rounded even more, making it a full bodied yet remarkably easy to drink, fruity yet elegant companion to my oven chicken and camarelised Brussels sprouts dinner. Hints of dark fruit, lovely sweet with enough acidity, just a hint of bitter but mostly the best of terroir and sun to remind us of his Chateauneuf Du Pape Origins.

May 1, 2016 - Mont Redon lunch (The Hughenden Hotel, Woolahra): Spice, blackberry over red berry, slight spice, earthy elements, alcohol warmth, quite perfumed tinned peppercorns. Juicy peppery and spicy, a bit warm, bit of mid palate grip but still quite silky, not massively long. Hmm.

September 1, 2015 - Smells of stones baking under a hot sun. Raspberry and plum fruits are ripe but not overly so. It has good flesh in the mouth and a suggestion of tar. The finish is quite savoury and balance of the wine very good.

October 27, 2014 - This was quite enjoyable. Can't remember the breakdown on the blend but great nose, much more balanced that the CDR. Nice finish, with a bit of oak.
