  January 20, 2024 - I imagine this was lovely 3-4 years ago; upon popping it boasts a lovely bouquet of crushed herbs and dried fruit, with some delectable meaty flavors. After 45 mins or so of air, though, it really falls apart--the alcohol content is just too high. After an hour it pretty much tastes like...wine. A fascinating experience all the same, though, and worth the song I bought it for.

  December 28, 2022 - For whatever reason this has gone to the down side of things after drinking it for an hour. Still on all of the positive attributes of black fruit, oak, meat, bacon, dried herbs, spice, and some gamey notes. Lower acidity than last time, so I say drink this up and over the next 1-2 years. Plateau is now, and decline is looming. Drink with all things game and lamb. Nice drink for $7! That's $7 for a bottle, not a glass.
