October 5, 2009 - Color: Dark purple, some bricking on edge. Nose: Dark fruit, plums, blackberries, some dust and barnyard Taste: Blackberries and tart dark cherries dominate. Mouthfeel: good balance, tannins largely resolved. Overall: This wine was pretty good, but didnt knock my socks off. It was probably a bit muted due to age. OK, but nothing to write home about.
