December 27, 2021 - This is in a perfect spot. Balanced primary fruit all the way through. The nose was robust elegance. Long finish. Was exciting in the glass from first pour (no decant). Wax topped bottle.

July 16, 2021 - Decanted for 40 minutes which helped to release the genie. Some sediment. A deep purple to a faded rim in the glass. On the nose there were lots of dark red fruits and some spice, with even more of the same on the medium bodied palate, along with some blue and black fruit, some earth, and a touch of chocolate. The acidity was lively enough to balance all of this, and the tannins were nicely resolved. This wine could hold for a couple of years, but why wait as it drinking extremely well right now.

January 12, 2020 - Big, jammy, powerful Syrah. On the nose, black fruit and licorice. Black cherry and raspberry liquors on the palate. Ready now, but lots of fruit and time left.
