September 14, 2021 - Still drinking well, especially given an hour or so to breathe.

October 22, 2018 - Consistent red & darker fruits. Quite tasty. Went well with a steak.

May 25, 2017 - What is going on here isn't very inviting. It's not bad either. Tastes like hot climate, somewhat overcropped Syrah. Lovely color. Then earth, iron, stale ground coffee, a trace of black cherry, garrigue, and dull rather bitter black olive/tannins. An absence of lively fruit. Flat in the mouth with pronounced alcohol (but only 14.3% abv). No lift anywhere along the line. There are no obvious flaws but no virtues either, aside from the pretty color. Guessing should have drunk much sooner. 4+11+13+5

Day 2. Some improvement. Alcohol is less prominent and there's more fruit.
