Out of bottle, initially: Crimson. Wet barnyard, then pepper and dark fruit slowly emerge on the nose. Palate similar to the nose, but thin and austere, fine tannins. 84.
Probably benefits from a long decant unfortunately which we did not have time for. -

June 8, 2019 - The combo of wildness and primary upfront sweet raspberry makes this wine both complex and elegant. This is a wine with multiple layers that is beautiful just to sip. Iron, pine rosin, licorice and forest floor sits on the palate for a while but at the very end there is a slightly smoky touch.

October 17, 2017 - fantastic development and subtlety of fragrance. The taste texture is dense, but very fresh (excellent acidity). In nose&taste there is constant interlacing of red berries, gooseberries, cinnamon, cardamom, other spices, beets, roses. Very good.����
