  April 16, 2015 - For a Chard under $15, this does the trick, 4 years running. All the right notes: crisp on the attack and lush mid palate, firm and tropical, diacetyl butter and zesty brulee, green apples and yellow lemons. The California alcohol can be muted by serving this colder than cellar temp, about 40 to 44 F. Refreshing and classy in its class, pure pleasure. 88-90

  February 16, 2015 - Good fat Cali Chardonnay. Medium yellow-gold. OK legs. Ripe tropical fruit in the nose. Not complex, but a good core of fruit. Short of fat, it has lots of ripe fruit that is easy to appreciate even if it doesn't inspire rhapsodies. Decent finish. Should be drunk now for its freshness, before it starts to lose fruit and becomes ponderous. 4-11-15-8: 88/100.

  January 17, 2015 - Clear pale straw. Pear,apricot, banana. No sugar, low acids, no tannins. Lemon curd. Short balanced finish.
