August 1, 2015 - Medium dense, purple color, w/ good clarity. Fruit-forward initially, then softening in the mouth. Aroma of cherries & a hint of grapes. Cherry-dominant flavor. Slightly tannic aftertaste. Good, but not great.

April 25, 2015 - Received a 3L of this as a gift this past Christmas. Opened it with family in town over BBQ smoked ribs and brisket. Paired well with the food but wine was a little overpowered. Dark color (expected with high merlot %) but fruit and oak did not balance until the last quarter of the Jerobaum. Enjoyable, every day wine.
