July 10, 2022 - Still with a lot of life left in it. Lirac is supposed to be minimum 40% grenache, but this tastes much richer than a wine with 40% grenache. I would have guessed this was mostly syrah or mourvedre. Too bad this is my last bottle. I would love to try again in 5 years. This was really good bargain at $22 from Vins Rare. I would definitely buy again.

March 16, 2021 - At first a bit stinky with some TCA hint which blows off after an hour or so, the sangiovese fruit also needed 2h to shine. Delicious wine at peak but needs a decant!

May 15, 2020 - A very nice Italian red! I can't believe it. It has nice fruit, good body, lasting aftertaste and it is not loaded with tannin. Not sure this needs to age much more. At $22, not too bad. Worth maybe $15.
