Not quite left bank Bordeaux or cali cab blend but in the general neighborhoods.
Tannins shut down the finish. But cleanly.
Will report on the fruit after dare I acknowledge decanting.

August 9, 2016 - Ate with homemade lasagna. Well balanced fruits (blackberry, cherry, currants) contrast with earth flavors (leather and tar), although the balance does tend to the fruity side. Goes well with food. Good every day wine. Decent finish. Full bodied.

February 11, 2016 - Gambero Rosso Trebicchieri San Francisco. Nose of plum and blackberry, lots of blackberry fruit on the palate, medium body, tasty, simple, medium/long finish. Like the 2011 to me.
