Community Tasting Notes 21

March 29, 2021 - Beautiful vibrant notes of fresh red fruits. Deliciously fruity and supple on the palate. Has a nice creamy feel to it, which makes it smooth and pleasurable to drink. Nicely balanced and well rounded. Drinking superbly now.

June 26, 2020 - Pnp 18 months after my last bottle. Very accessible and smooth upon pulling the cork but aromatically fairly muted. With more air the medium (+) tannins appear again, but with that the wine becomes actually more expressive. More red than dark fruited, medium body, good acidity and freshness, fine and accurately drawn but obviously not yet ready, and not together. The drinking window here is far to early, would give it another 2 years in bottle before trying again. 2022 - 2030 perhaps. Not sure this can reach the 95 points WA gave it, but 92-93 for sure. 91+ for now.

December 21, 2019 - 4th try: Cherries, raspberries bouquet. Tasted black cherries, grape skin, peppers. Still rather tannic, with tinge of sours.

December 8, 2019 - Crowd loved this wine, and it certainly didn't disappoint again. Red fruits and cherries about. Rounded texture to the palate. No rough edges. Has a lovely depth thru the palate. Leaves you wanting more.
