July 31, 2016 - Simple, lower end (in geography and taste) Burgundy white. Paired with garlic buttered steamed shrimp and tilapia. Detectable but faint sulphur aroma after opening and for about 30 min.

July 11, 2016 - I'm not going to rate it because I feel it was opened too early. Over 3 days: opened and poured very closed and harsh. Not showing well at all. Day 2, a little better, especially when brought to room temperature (70). Still not great or like any Saint-Veran I had ever enjoyed. Day 3: vastly improved, well-balanced and enjoyable. Not typical SV experience, a very lean, taught style I would have likened more to Chablis. I will hold others for a couple of years before sampling again.

August 4, 2014 - 2nd tasting w/ consistent notes. ~ This is a nice Chardonnay from southern Burgundy. It's certainly not the most complex, but pleasant nonetheless. I believe it should be paired with food in order to bring out some of its better qualities. I would have guessed Viognier when first opened. It's odd to say, but this is the most California tasting white Burgundy that I've tasted. In all it's good and a good bargain for $12 or less.
