June 11, 2015 - Impressive given that French supermarkets were selling this until not too long ago for only 8 euro. There is still value in Bordeaux. Robust for such a minor Bordeaux.

Dark, savoury, dry claret. Unfortunately it lacks character/flair/interest. That said I expect a little bit of aged character will emerge over the next 3-5 years. It hasn't been fast to emerge in this wine.

September 10, 2012 - The best bottle of my case so far. Showing more depth and concentration which gave me the sense it would still go a while longer. More black olives, bitter chocolate and dark cherries, crunchy tannins and nice acidity. Very enjoyable with a bowl of spag bol.

June 13, 2012 - Reminiscent of Sociando-M in this vintage, which is not a compliment. Unripe cabernet, producing green pepper flavours and green tannins. There is some fruit, which takes a while to surface, but this is not a good example of what Tour du H-M can achieve.
