December 12, 2017 - Double decanted; minimal sediment. Notes taken on day two. Bright ruby red color. Muted nose of black fruit. Medium-to-full-bodied on the palate with a good balance of acids and tannins. A pleasant wine, but with minimal complexity. A slight bit of heat on a medium-length finish. Not a great cali cab, but for the money (<$30), it's good.

December 24, 2016 - Simple, thin with ample tannin and acid. Black cherry and some black raspberry with a touch of mushroom and sassafras. Short finish.
